Senior Minister

Senior Minister Rev. Karen Epps is a compassionate, purposeful leader with a well developed sense of timing and skill in working with people at all levels of ministry. She is a progressive and passionate speaker whose straightforward down-to-earth style of preaching universal Truth Principles touches the hearts of men and women of all ages. Passionate about teaching as well as preaching, her background includes visioning, spiritual leadership, conflict resolution, and retreat and workshop presentation Her soul’s deepest desire is to see people reach their potential by putting faith with their works, utilizing the abilities of God in them and embracing their past through a lens of wholeness.

She comes to Unity Church of Dallas from Miami’s Unity on the Bay where she served as Associate Minister following her ordination in 2005. While in Miami, she co-created programs that helped shape and support strategic leadership for the overall ministry, and provided spiritual guidance to her congregation based on a deep understanding that the movement of Spirit is the basis for all activity. In addition, she was directly responsible for Family Ministry, Adult Education and The Source Bookstore.

Prior to answering God’s call to ministry, she held an executive position as Purchasing and Materials Manager with Power One, Inc. She also has extensive leadership experience in civic council and community service activities, plus over 20 years of leadership in industry. She is also currently attending John F. Kennedy University to obtain her MA in Integral Theory.
