My Purpose Here Gautama Buddha says, “Your purpose in life is to find your purpose and give your whole heart and soul to it”.
Exploring and experiencing this universe consciously is truly a way of life. I discovered that the only purpose I have... the only thing that harmonizes all of my parts, is to express love. When I close my outer eyes and glide over past relationships, interactions, and choices, I see these long stretches of unconditionally living from that purpose of love.
It didn't matter if I was going to school, washing a dish, or holding a lover in the night. I would pour love into everything I did and I was truly happy. Life was a living art.
Taking an honest assessment of how things developed, I know that I did not hold to that purpose. Becoming judgmental or shut off from others because I honestly felt I had let myself down. I wanted to "be good", be accepted, be something worthy of love. If I did the right thing, maybe I could guarantee some idealistic, perfect and permanent outcome! (Castles made of Sand by Hendrix helped heal that one.)
In the end, the other person would have to be happy or have to love me. You can imagine my shock and self-judgment when a boss wanted to fire me or a lover looked down on me. “If you want to identify me, ask me not where I live, or what I like to eat, or how I comb my hair, but ask me what I am living for, in detail, ask me what I think is keeping me from living fully for the thing I want to live for.” ― Thomas Merton
I want to live my purpose regardless of what I think is going on around my person. Living from 'What I Am' instead of some idea of 'who I am' or who I am supposed to be in some situation. I AM Love. Created from and Connected to the Seed Source of All That Is. Unconditionally given life, breath, thought and motion to create with this same unconditional love. In this way, relationships become an interaction Source to Source.
It's a huge training to live from it in all now moments... I'm on my way to the space where I always remember... You can support me in that by looking for signs of my giving and receiving care... consideration... kindness... patience... Look for all things good and call them through me if you see them becoming distant. I'm calling all the goodness and light from within you... you need do nothing... just be... live from your calling... this is mine.
Namaste, thanks for listening
