“The Power of Understanding” Sunday Sermon

“Understanding” is our power for this Sunday! Charles Fillmore defines Understanding as “The revelation of Truth to the consciousness of a person is spiritual understanding.”

We will explore his definition using Emily Cady’s teachings. Dr. Emily Cady (1848–1941) was a homeopathic physician and metaphysical writer best known in the Unity movement for her book Lessons in Truth. She said, “Understanding is a spiritual birth, a revelation of God within the heart of man.” How do we experience this “birth” and “know” the Truth of who we are?
