This year’s annual camping trip will be at the group site of East Fork Campground at Lake Lavon located very near Wylie, Texas. The campground opens at 10 AM and closes at 10 pm although one can leave at any time after 10 pm.

Unity of Dallas is covering the cost of the campgrounds, but you need to bring:

Equipment: The church has some sleeping bags and tents that can be used if you would like to come but don’t have these. Contact Debby Thomas at Thomas.debby@yahoo.com .

Chairs: Please bring a folding chair for sitting around the fire pit in the evenings and for the sunset meditation on Saturday.

Food: Meals will be potluck so you may need a cooler to keep them in as the activity lasts 2 days.

Wood: for campers a bundle of wood would be nice for the fire pit activities

Clothing: Be sure and bring cool and warm clothes as fronts can blow through in late October

Group Site: There is a very large area for camping and two electrical sites will be available for tent campers. These will be available on a first come first serve basis.

Recently, Dr. Cameron published 3 children’s books including A Gust of Wind, The Pea That Could Not See, A Broken Wing, and A White Cloud that focus on the proper way to deal with one’s negative feelings.
