We invite you to join us. We celebrate, honor and affirm you just the way you are.
Thank you for considering Unity of Dallas as your new church home. We look forward to getting to know you better in the coming weeks.
We offer inspirational Sunday Services, classes, workshops and other opportunities to join with others of like-mind along your spiritual journey.
Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual’s right to choose their own spiritual path. Unity of Dallas offers a community, acceptance, and fresh ways of seeing spirituality to support you on your spiritual journey.
The front of the church is covered with a large porte-cochere for easy loading and unloading of guests or supplies. There is ample parking to the side and back of the church. The grounds also include a fenced playground for children.
A beautiful prayer garden overlooking a picturesque winding creek sits behind the church. An ornamental bridge runs across the creek and is the perfect spot for a meditative stroll or a memorable photographic backdrop.
The church administration office is located halfway down the foyer on the second level.
Unity, often referred to as a "Spiritual Educational Movement", gives great focus to lifelong education. That’s why our calendar reflects a plethora of classes and multiple week-long intensive's, like SEE week. In this way, there is always an opportunity to grow.
Three floors of the spacious facility are dedicated to learning with handicap access to them all.
The spacious third-floor 'Adult Classroom' is half surrounded by windows and trees, giving the feeling of being in a treehouse. It can accommodate up to 100 people for classes, seminars or workshops. On the second floor, are three newly refurbished classrooms.
Downstairs are 7 more classrooms of various sizes along with the third set of restrooms and the water fountain, which has wheelchair access near the patio on the South Side of the building.
The atmosphere is fun and vibrant. Colorful animals with positive sayings painted by member Ken Sutherland greet the children each week.
The UNITEENS (ages 12-14) meet in classrooms on the lower level and have their own personalized curriculum for middle school-aged students. They attend “Unitreats” (over-nights at the church) and day trips for fellowship and Spiritual growth.
Our High School-aged youth, the Youth of Unity are more commonly called the YOU. They include students between the ages of 14 to 18. They meet at the Red House, a building on our property just north of the main church building.
Our YOU, Youth of Unity, host open mic nights, over-night retreats, outreach projects and attend Unity rallies, with other YOU chapters, several times a year.
Fellowship Hall is the heartbeat of the church. Originally the church’s sanctuary, Fellowship Hall is now the gathering place for church meetings and Sunday morning coffees. The hall has full audio/visual and movable stage capabilities. The hall has attached kitchen and can seat up to 200.
The Sanctuary is built in amphitheater style with an expansive stage, two large video screens, and beautiful sound acoustics. Although it can seat 850, the Sanctuary is a warm, intimate space with comfortable, spacious seating. The space also houses a sound and projection booth.
Myrtle Hall is a new multi-purpose room on our main floor. This space is suitable for gatherings of approximately 60 to 100 people. The space is a wonderful option for weddings, memorials, meetings, and classes.
We offer a variety of books, CDs, DVDs, pamphlets and other printed materials that cover a wide spectrum of subjects including Unity Classics, Spirituality, Prosperity and Success, Prayer and Meditation, Bibles and Commentaries, Science and Spirituality, Ancient Wisdom among others. They also carry gifts, cards, and original artwork. CD’s of Sunday talks are available as well, for people who don’t wish to download the talks from our website.
